First Visit Information

Thank you for choosing us to be your dental care provider. We are very excited to meet you, and are looking forward to having you as a new patient in our office.

We work to have open communication with our patients and encourage all questions.  We want you to feel at home and have all of the information you need to make your dental decisions.  We pride ourselves on gentle, family oriented dental care to the adults and children of this community.  Our practice was built on our patient's referral-they've chosen to trust us year after year.  We'd like your trust also.

Your First Appointment

At your new patient appointment, we will be performing a variety of services in order to assist in providing you with the best care possible. These services include a medical history review, oral cancer screening, complete set of dental x-rays, a thorough dental examination, a complete gum examination, and if time permits, a routine cleaning. After the exam, Dr. Yea will inform you of any existing problems, and provide you with appropriate treatment options, as well as answer all of your questions concerning your dental health. On average, this appointment takes approximately an hour.  We spend time addressing concerns, and strategies are developed specifically to make your dental experience a positive one.  We encourage you to bring your concerns to our attention.  We are trained to help put people at ease with techniques that are effective before, during, and following your visit.  So please ask questions!
